It covers the complete asset journey — from initial budget approval and procurement, through asset registration with QR coding, allocation, depreciation, and maintenance, to final retirement, merge, or split. It also manages multi-store inventory and vendor relationships, making it a single system for all organizational logistics.
Nimble FAMS is used by a wide range of organizations across Nepal including commercial and development banks (BFIs), government institutions, INGOs and NGOs, manufacturing companies, hospitals, hotels, and large corporate groups. Its multi-store and multi-business-unit architecture makes it suitable for both single-office organizations and those with complex branch networks spread across the country.
Nimble FAMS is a fully standalone product that can be deployed independently of Nimble HRMS. Organizations already using other HR or ERP systems can still adopt FAMS for asset and inventory management. Depreciation schedules are auto-generated and can be posted directly to your accounting or CBS system.
Yes. Every asset registered in Nimble FAMS can be assigned a unique asset code and printed QR label. During physical verification or reconciliation, staff scan QR codes to instantly pull up asset details, location, custodian, condition, and history — eliminating manual spreadsheet lookup. Yes. Multi-store support is a core design principle of Nimble FAMS, not an add-on. The system supports a five-level hierarchy: Godown → Head Office → Regional Office → Area Office → Branch. Items can be transferred between any two nodes with transit tracking, so you always know whether stock is in a store, in transit, or received at destination. Each store sees only its own stock while head office sees the consolidated picture.

Procurement

Nimble FAMS digitizes procurement from end to end. The workflow starts with department-level item requests, moves through an approval hierarchy, triggers quotation requests to registered vendors, enables quotation comparison and vendor shortlisting, generates approved purchase orders, and closes with GRN upon delivery. Every step is logged with timestamps and approver records — meeting audit and compliance requirements for banks and government bodies.
The vendor module maintains a complete vendor database with contact details, item mappings, and fiscal-year-wise procurement history. Vendor performance is tracked across quality, delivery timeliness, and pricing, giving procurement teams objective data for vendor selection. Integration

Yes. Nimble FAMS is integrated with major Core Banking Systems (CBS) used in Nepal including Finacle, Pumori, MFin, Pumari, and Fact. Asset purchase vouchers and depreciation entries are automatically posted to the CBS ledger, eliminating double entry between the asset register and the core accounting system. Yes on both counts. With Nimble HRMS, asset allocation maps directly to the employee master — so when an asset is assigned, the employee record is automatically updated with their custodian assets. With external ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or local accounting platforms, Nimble FAMS provides API and voucher-level integration to push asset and inventory transactions into the parent accounting system.

Compliance and Audit

Yes. Nimble FAMS calculates depreciation per Nepal's Income Tax Act 2058 (and subsequent amendments), applying the correct depreciation rates per asset block — buildings, vehicles, furniture, computers, plant and machinery, and others — as prescribed by the Inland Revenue Department (IRD). The tax depreciation schedule is maintained separately from the company depreciation schedule, and both are available as audit-ready reports for year-end filing.
